About Jessica
My family and I moved to Westford in February 2017 and ever since then, we have been absolutely smitten with the beauty and kindness of this community.
From our first power outage (three days after we moved in!) to remote learning during COVID, our neighbors and community have given us the tools, perspective and humor we needed to navigate each new challenge. While we have given back in smaller ways - like Rob's daily signs during COVID or becoming the stewards of the Peace trail in 2023 - I am excited for the opportunity to give back in a bigger way to this incredible community by giving my time and experience to the school committee.

My goal as an educator is to make science accessible and inclusive for learners of all ages, changing the way they see themselves in relation to STEM.
Build STEM Identity
Giving students a positive introduction to STEM is critical to shaping the way they see themselves in relation to these subjects for the rest of their lives. Throughout my career, I have specialized in creating learning experiences that develop a personal connection with STEM.

Support Educators
I have led professional development trainings for 1,000+ teachers around the globe in how to design and deliver personalized virtual learning experiences. I have a deep understanding of both the strengths and limitations of edtech tools to supplement classroom learning.
